If you have a Makerspace and are looking for something fun to make, we have an idea for you. The packing cube is a really cool and interesting puzzle.

All 5 pyramids inside the packing cube

The laser etched results flat before folding

You just need to etch the cardboard folds and fold into pyramids. It’s surprising how the pyramids can all fit inside the cube. It’s a good challenge to figure out how to make it and then pack all the pyramids together into the cube. The surprising part is it seems like you have more pyramids than what should fit into the box.

We have linked the files for laser etching. If you are up for it, here’s an ultimate challenge: figure out and size the pieces yourself!
