Take and Make: Pythagorean Puzzles are a hit in Middle School

These two Pythagorean Theorem Puzzles were a hit with Paola Garcia’s middle school students.   Paola mentioned that some students who are not as facile with pen and paper exercises excelled with the wooden puzzles and that overall everyone enjoyed them.

These do not have the solutions etched into the board but that is an option.  Delete the green etch or put on the back side if you do not want to show solutions!

  1. Great use of wood, when we did that puzzle in my days it was with paper and it lacked the fun of the solid, tactile feeling when piecing together the shapes.
