MathHappens is an operating foundation and we do not usually fund grants, but we do support partners.  The program by Daniel Kline at Julia Robinson Mathematics Festivals, JRMF to provide festival experiences to students at Title 1 schools in the bay are is one we are very excited to support.  And JRMF dedicated a table at the festivals to some MathHappens activities so that was great too!  They selected the 21st Century Pattern tiles by MathforLove, designed by Christopher Danielson and Blocks Jr., a set of building blocks designed by puzzle master Scott Kim.  Here’s a gallery of photos of these materials from some festivals this fall.    You can learn about all four festivals here: MathHappens Sponsored Festivals v3.
