We had an opportunity to share our models and most recent field trip ideas at the AISD Math and Science Conference. We presented a session and also loaded two tables with examples of our work.
We are excited to go to the Bullock today to present some of our current ideas and work to math teachers/department chairs. We brought a variety of materials and most importantly three of our UTeach Spring Interns to Educator night sponsored by the Austin Museum Partnership, and hosted at the LBJ Library — Fancy. We had some great conversations with teachers and with museum staff about adding math to museum offerings and about opportunities to take Math Field Trips!
