Models & Materials

At MathHappens, we design and build hands-on mathematical models that spark curiosity, encourage play, and make abstract ideas feel real.
How we make our materials

We fabricate most of our models internally using tools like laser cutters, 3D printers, and various craft supplies. This gives us the flexibility to experiment, iterate, and produce exactly what each activity needs.

Featured mathematical models

We create models that help mathematical ideas come alive — through visuals, motion, and hands-on exploration. Here are a few themes we love building for:

If you have access to a makerspace, you can build many of our models on your own. Visit our Maker Library to find downloadable files, materials lists, and assembly notes for dozens of projects.
