The Matrix x Imaginary Conference that happens every two years brings together math museums and math outreach organizations and educators from around the world, including Eastern Europe, and Australia. Some of our favorite folks from MoMath, SUMM, and MMACA were there. We had a great time at the talks and in our time manning our display table.
After the conference we were invited to participate in a Math Festival on the shore of Lake Geneva. It rained a bit but we brought models that we think have a little magic to them and we had a great time. On the table were a Magic Area puzzle, circle area models, Curry Triangle Paradox, the Disappearing Bunny, Which One is Larger, Mirror Book and Impossible Cylinder and of course the Butterfly Puzzle and the Hexagon Puzzle for the littlest ones.
