We traveled to Philadelphia to be a part of the ICM Mathematics Festival. This amazing conference takes place every four years. Four new Fields Medalists were named with more prizes and talks in the program. Jordan Varat, Austin Bell and Lauren Siegel were the festival team. Many friends and colleagues from the MATRIX conference also attended.
Our festival space gave us room to have a range of Bubble Tile activities, a table of Hat Tiles, the Koch Fractal make and take and more. We also were happy to have a helper from a local university each day. We gave away about 90 One of Each Frames to people who solved the puzzle.
Bubble Tiles are novel, engaging and mathematically interesting to people of all ages from novice to expert mathematician. We have fun with them where ever we take them. Find out more about all the ideas, apps, proofs and games related to Bubble Tiles.
The first two photos are our amazing volunteers. Further down you can find the founder and CEO of Fundapromat, one of the co-authors of the paper on the Hat Tile, and more!

We also tried out the Bubble Tile Accessories. Kate Jones made Bubble Tile letters so we could spell ICM.
