HEB Free First Sunday at the Texas State History Museum

We love to be a part of free events!  This is one of our favorites and Naila Williams, Stefany Espinoza and Taran Kumar had a great time. Every month admission is free at Texas’ flagship museum, and people line up before it even opens.  For us it is a chance to engage with the museum, contribute to themed programming (Women in Stem) and enjoy four hours of interaction with enthusiastic visitors in a beautiful setting.

Curve stitching was invented by Mary Boole to teach young women mathematics.  In making a beautiful design we also get to see how straight lines can define curves.  We bring a variety of frames and cord so makers can choose and customize their design.
