Austin Bell is not only a graduate student in mathematics at University of New Mexico, he is very dedicated to and supports a variety of outreach programs for students, teachers and learners of all types .   We were fortunate to have him work with Ishtar Rosario to keep the MathHappens Space at Explora open through the  2023/2024 academic year.  He changes up the materials from week to week and has a great deal of enthusiasm to share with visitors for the math and for the museum experience.

Austin visited MathHappens over the winter break and toured our spaces at the Nature and Science Center and Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex as well as visiting the workshop on Pearl St.
