We are really excited about MathFest 2023! MathHappens Foundation has a booth — please come and see us! We are giving away a variety of models that will not only be fun for you, but we hope will inspire you to have fun with others talking about interesting math.
The whole team in Austin has pitched in to prepare for this event. Attending in person are Lauren Siegel, Executive Director of MathHappens, Matt Hertel, Project Coordinator who is currently managing two outreach spaces and also supervising summer interns, Naila Hajiyeva, a recent graduate of UT Austin and MathHappens veteran headed to graduate school this fall and Stefany Espinoza, University of Texas undergraduate and also a veteran intern with a wide range of outreach, event and model making experiences.
Ella Basken made a list of the models and materials we are bringing that you can see here. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone and will add photos to this post.
We are having a great time meeting old friends in person and making new ones!
